Bayelsa: Diri Swears-in assembly service commission chair, members, others

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has Sworn-in Chairman  and members of the State Assembly Service Commission, permanent secretary and chairman, Apoi Olodiama Rural Development Authority.

Those sworn-in were, Mr Dein Benadoumene, Chairman, State House of Assembly Service Commission, Iniyobiyo Numomidogiyo Obiene, Wurukumor Godwin, Isikuru Eseooghene Joseph and Mrs Apretari Ogugu, members.

The governor equally sworn-in Mr Numa Davis Igiran, as Permanent and Mrs Leah Amara, Chairman Apoi Olodiama Rural Development Authority.

Diri, who charged the Appointees to collaborate with Staff in their various establishment in achieving set goals, urged them see their appointment as a call for greater service to the state.

Describing their appointments as a square peg in a square hole, Governor Diri expressed optimism that they would bring their wealth of experiences to bear.

The State chief executive, urged them to guide, advice and work in collaboration with their colleagues to usher in the needed change in their various establishments.

Speaking on behalf of other appointees, Chairman of the State Assembly Service Commission, Dein Benadoumene, promised to  bring their wealth of experience bear in service delivery to their various offices.

He commended Governor Diri for the opportunity to serve the State and pledged not to betray the confidence.
