Senior Special Assistants to Governor Douye Diri, under the auspices of the Senior Special Assistants Forum(SSA’s Forum), earlier today had a parley with the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, High Chief Collins Cocodia at his office in Yenagoa.

In a remark, Chairman of the SSA’s Forum, Mr. Johnbull Cleopas, applauded Governor Douye Diri for giving them an opportunity to serve the state, saying as a body they are very committed to the success of the Prosperity mantra of the Governor.

Mr. Johnbull, posited that as a group there only project is  the successful reelection bid of the State Chief Executive, stating that his modest achievements in the past three years and more, has endeared him to the people of the State. 

He assured the governor and the peoples Democratic Party’s forum’s support  come November 11.

Also, Mr. Prince Koroye, Mrs Ikiomotom Pasisei, Elder Stephen Igere and Mr. Oke Emiefe, who lauded the Governor’s developmental strides and legacy projects, also appreciated the efforts of the Special Adviser on Political Matters in winning more major chieftains from the opposition party, to the PDP.

Responding, Special Adviser on Political Matters, High Chief Collins Cocodia, appreciated the group for their timely visit, and  encouraged the SSA’s to always have a good working relationship with those in their communities and wards, so as to pave way for easy  mobilisation, before, during and after the elections.

Chief Cocodia, stressed that although, the victory of Governor Douye Diri has been sealed by God, it still behoves on them to keep up their mop up exercise, and ensure members of the opposition are further reduced to the least across the entire 105 wards.

The Governor’s aide equally advised members of the group to be excellent, committed and unique in their duties as some of them will be elevated in due time, as political growth remain inevitable.
