•••Commends contractors for pace of work
Bayelsa State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr Moses Teibowei, has reiterated government commitment towards completing all ongoing projects in Bayelsa West Senatorial District.
Mr Teibowei, gave the assurance during an on-the-spot assessment tour along side staffers of the ministry and other top government officials, to some ongoing projects in the area, assuring that no project will be abandoned.
Describing the projects as key to the prosperity administration, he lauded the contractors handling the various projects for the pace of work done and urged them to sustain the tempo.

Mr Teibowei, lauded the people of the West senatorial district for always keeping fate with the prosperity administration, maintained that government will not play politics with human and infrastructure development of the State.
The works and Infrastructure commissioner, also appreciated the people of the area for their unflinching support to Governor Diri’s PDP led-government, also advised to be wary of politicians that knows their worth only during elections
On their part, Community Development Committee Chairman of Ekeremor, Mr Sam Opomu, Youths President, Mr Keligu Orderly and CDC chairman of Angalabiri Federated Community, Mr Goodluck Enabo,who said they were proud of Governor Diri Douye’s achievements, appreciated him for the commitment towards the completion of all ongoing projects across board.

Mr Opomu, Orderly and Enabo also appreciated the commissioner for works and infrastructure for driving the policies of government, promising to reciprocate the gesture come November 11.
The trio also thanked the Governor for the ongoing projects in other senatorial district, particularly for using indigenous contractors in some of the projects just as they appealed for more government presence in their localities.
Projects visited were, the Sagbama-Tungbo road Rehabilitation, Angalabiri-Spur,
Ofoni Spur, Anyamasa Spur, Anyamasa Jetty Point
- Isampou Spur, Amanagbene Spur,Ekeremor Spur and Shoreline Protection.
On the commissioner’s entourage were, Director of Transport, Government House, Mr Lucky Youbogha; Director of Civil Engineering, in the ministry, Mr Apurumelala Cliff-Eribo and a team of engineers.
