KPANSIA MARKET TRADERS DECLARE TOTAL SUPPORT FOR DIRI

Traders at the popular Kpansia Market say they have made up their minds to standby by the incumbent Governor, Douye Diri at the forthcoming November 11 Governorship election in the state.

They made the declaration on Thursday when a political group known as Musicians Support Group for Diri/Law, visited the market and donated aprons to most of the traders.

This is as they commended Governor Douye Diri for bringing sanity within and around the market, as well as other functioning markets in the state capital.

The traders stressed that before the Diri regime, most markets had several illegal structures which became hideouts for criminals, while some of the petty traders took their goods to the roadside causing huge traffic, however, the Governor’s efforts in removing the structures and barricading environs have uplifted the face of the markets.

They equally lauded the Governor’s giant strides in other sectors, particularly the ongoing senatorial roads construction, which they emphasized will aid farmers to transport their goods from the communities to the state capital.

The Political group led by it’s Chairman, Eke Tinbebeilakumo Gohon, said their mission was to galvanize support for the Diri adminstration ahead of the forthcoming November 11 governorship election, as the Governor has performed beyond expectations and deserves to be returned.
