An Amassoma-based Political organisation, Peoples Democratic Party Grassroot Caucus, has declared it’s total support for the reelection bid of Governor Douye Diri, and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.

Declaring their commitment to the PDP standard bearer, the group numbering over two hundred persons said Douye Diri has proven to be a leader sent by God.

Speaking, leader of the group, Goodwill Odoh, said they are not moved by the empty promises of other political parties, stating that Amassoma is a PDP community, contrary to reports that the opposition party was in charge.

The Peoples Democratic Party Grassroot Caucus was accompanied by Engr. Charles Ambaowei who is the group’s Patron.

Receiving the group at his office in Yenagoa, Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor, Chief Collins Cocodia, appreciated the group for their massive support to the Governor, saying Senator Diri’s return is a done deal, following the several endorsements by Bayelsans and it’s residents.

 Chief Collins also lauded the support of the Amassoma community to the Diri/ Law administration, urging them to further mobilize more members to standby the PDP at the November 11 election.
