***Bosso, others, Storm Bayelsa for International Scouting Exercise

Ahead of the 5th Governor Douye Diri international scouting program/coaching clinic, the organizers of the Prosperity Cup have concluded plans for a perfect scouting exercise.
This was contained in a statement signed by Director General of the tournament, Mr. Ono Akpe, on behalf of the Central Organizing Committee (COC) with the aim of giving the youths in the State a productive life.
The 5th governor Douye Diri international scouting program exercise is slated from Monday 1st through 4th, 2024 at the Samson Siasia Stadium with the scouting to be led by U:20 coach Ladan Bosso and Glen Sthal of Sweden while the coaching clinic would come up on the 1st of July at Golden Tulip Hotel, Onopa by 10am.
According to the organizers, the program is in line with the philosophy of the governor’s Prosperity mantra to develop and empower the youths of the State through sports.
The statement explains that over one thousand youths are invited daily for the week-long screening exercise before the commencement of the scouting exercise.
Mr. Akpe notes that commissioner for Sports Development, Dr. Daniel Igali will serve as the chairman of occasion, commissioner for Youth Development, Hon. Alfred Nimizigha Kemapado as guest of honour and chairman House Committee on Sports, Hon.Tare Porri, special guest of honour.
Other guest are Dr. Peter Singabele, former CAF medical committee member as father of the day, Dr. Michael Amaegberi, Executive Secretary, Bayelsa State Higher Education Students Loan Board, and All Local Government Chairmen.
The host is Mr.Perela Aboro, Tournament Director Prosperity Cup while Mr. Ono Akpe, Director General Prosperity Cup is chief host.
