Frontline NNPCL Security, Wis South-Security Limited, has commissioned its third batch of over two hundred personnel with a charge to fight crud oil theft, protect NNPCL facilities and installtions across the Niger Delta Region.
Recall that the graduands drawn from the eight LGAs of Bayelsa State, had undergone intensive training to straighten and equipped the already existing officers to assist other security agencies in protecting critical national assets.
The passing-out parade which took place at the Wis-South Security Limited office in Yenagoa, had in attendance top management and rank and file of the security.
In his charge, Chief Executive Officer of Wis-South Security Limited, Chief Wisdom Owoh, who admonished them to be good ambassadors of the security outfit, also urged them to adhere strictly to the ethics of modern policing while discharging their primary assignment.
Represented by Warrant Officer Bonus Owomotimi, Chief Owoh warned against all forms of corruption as well as be guided with the core values of the military such as, respect to superior, discipline, loyalty, integrity and patriotism.
He noted that the Niger Delta region was certain that the officers had been trained both academically and professionally to impact positively on the security architecture of the area.
The chief executive officer warned miscreant or mischief makers to steer clear of oil NNPCL facilities, installation saying any one caught will face the full weight of the law.
Also speaking, Director of Operation,Chief Womotimi Apaingolo, who congratulated them for a successful graduation, urged the officers to stay vigilant to the ideals of the security outfit geared towards ensuring effective service delivery.
Chief Apaingolo, who encouraged them to put the nation at heart and and handle their assignments with utmost dedication and commitment, also lauded Governor Douye Diri for using all the security apparatus to stem the tide of insecurity.
On his part, Director of information, Mr John Etekpe, advised them to complement the effort of other security agencies to secure property and investments within the Niger Delta region to attract more investors.
Mr Etekpe, who noted that the officers are critical stakeholders in the security space, challenged them to be passionate about their job and maintain a positive energy while handling the public.
