Epie Clan Monarchs in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa have  formally received and reinstated the paramount ruler of Ekeki Community Chief Bernard Odoki and his deputy, Chief Okoya Osain, into its council of chiefs.

The endorsement of the paramount ruler and his deputy by the Epi traditional rulers council, followed the reinstatement of the duo at a General Congress of Ekeki Community held on the first of this month, at the Community Town hall.

Chief  Odoki and Chief Okoya were, reinstated when the community visited the palace of the king at Igbogene to formally present them to the Epi council of chiefs.

Presenting the duo to the Epie Chiefs Council, spokesman of the the delegation, Dr. Jubilee Etigbamo, appreciated King of the Clan, King Mala Sasime for the continued peace in the clan and for being an advocate of justice no matter who is involved.

Expressing confidence in the leadership prowess of their new members, the royal fathers offered some useful pieces of advice to the Chiefs

Speaking earlier, King Sasime, who spoke through…in his native language, advised  the newly elected paramount ruler and his deputy to carrry every member of the community along in their developmental scheme of things.

The Obenibe of Epie Kingdom, also charge citizens on the need to always cooperate with royal fathers, saying that any community development is highly dependent on peace, unity and harmonious living.

On their part, newly elected paramount ruler of Ekeki Community, Chief Bernard Odoki and his deputy, Chief Okoya Osain, who appreciated the people of the community for the trust reposed on them, promised to deploy their  wealth of experiences towards the development of the community.
